The equipment of the Christie MIRAGE WU7K-J projector includes 6300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 6300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 806 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 537 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
