The LW501i is a LCD projector by Christie, whose specifications list 5500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 2500 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction, allowing the projected image to be positioned with immense flexibility. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 753 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 502 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
