The projector HD3K by Christie operates as a DLP device with 2900 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2900 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 547 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 365 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
