As a projector, the Christie HD10K-M combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 9500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 990 cm can be illuminated with 9500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 660 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Since entering the market in 2008, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
