The HD7K J model is a DLP projector from Christie, intended for Stationary applications, offering 6200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 6200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 800 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 533 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
