Based on DLP technology, the Christie Mirage WU25 projects images in a Event environment, with technical specs listing 22300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 13.7 years possible. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 22300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1517 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 1011 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. The projector was released in 2017 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
