The CP2306-RGBe is a 3D-DLP projector by Christie, whose specifications list 6000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a HD2K 2048 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 30000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 41.1 years. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. A look at the light output reveals: The 6000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 450 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D.
