The Christie DWU851 Q is a DLP projector offering 7500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. A look at the light output reveals: The 7500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 880 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 587 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
