The basic data of the Christie Matrix WU7K-J includes 6300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200 as well as a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. An integrated lens shift provides significant leeway for placement. The lens can be adjusted to precisely align the image even with off-center installations. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 6300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 806 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 537 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
