The technical data of the Christie HD6K-M includes 5100 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 as well as a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 726 cm can be illuminated with 5100 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 484 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2008 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
