With the DS+26, Christie offers a DLP projector that features 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500:1 and a resolution of SXGA+ 1400 x 1050. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 2250 hours. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 290 cm. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 28 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2006 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie.
