Behind the name LWU530-APS is a LCD projector by Christie, whose main features include 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted without quality loss. The exact adjustment leeway can be calculated in the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. This model dates back to 2019 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
