Categorized in the Stationary segment, the DS+10K J projector from Christie projects with a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution, alongside 8500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. According to Christie, the included lamp lasts up to 1500 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Lens Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 8500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 803 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 535 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
