A projector from Christie is the MIRAGE HD10K-M, whose 3D-Laser-DLP model delivers 10500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 10000:1. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projection Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 1041 cm can be illuminated with 10500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 694 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Since entering the market in 2010, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
