As a projector, the Christie LW651i-D combines LCD technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 6500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 819 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 546 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Christie's current product range.
