Equipped with DLP technology, the Christie Matrix HD2 offers 2300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Lens Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 487 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 325 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
