The Mirage S+14K is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector by Christie, whose specifications list 14000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800:1 and a SXGA+ 1400 x 1050 resolution. According to Christie, the included lamp lasts up to 1000 hours. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. Thanks to the interchangeable lens system, the device can be equipped with optional lenses to react flexibly to different room sizes. Exact values for specific rooms are provided by the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 14000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 1030 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 687 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2004 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. Note: According to our information, replacement lamps (original or generic) are no longer available for this projector.
