Behind the name HD9K J is a DLP projector by Christie, whose main features include 8000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. According to Christie, the lamp has a durability of 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Distance Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 8000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 909 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 606 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2011 and is officially no longer distributed by Christie. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
