The ZW400UST model from Optoma combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 100000:1 and a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 13.7 years. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 54 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
