Known as the DX229, this 3D-LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Optoma features basic specs of 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4500 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.2 years possible. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 307 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
