The equipment of the Optoma ZK521ST projector includes 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300000:1 with a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 display. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours – calculating to 20.5 years at four hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Projector Calculator. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 158 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 544 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 363 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 29 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background.
