As a projector, the Optoma ZH461 combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 5000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 300000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. This model dates back to 2022 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
