Known as the TX7855, this 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Optoma features basic specs of 4800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 603 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 402 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
