According to Optoma, the W309ST model provides 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 25000:1 alongside a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 6000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 8.2 years. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 104 cm. Regarding projection size, the value of 3800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 626 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 417 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
