The hardware properties of the EW400 manufactured by Optoma include 4000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast value of 15000:1. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 3500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
