According to Optoma, the HD240W model provides 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 25000:1 alongside a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. With a value of only 26 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2014, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
