The EzPro / EP550 is a LED-LCD projector by Optoma, whose specifications list 300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 150:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 300 hours before a replacement is necessary. A look at the light output reveals: The 300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 151 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 101 cm. Since entering the market in 1996, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
