The equipment of the Optoma EH461 projector includes 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 display. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2500 hours. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 5000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 718 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
