Behind the name UM361Xi (Multi-Pen) is a LCD projector by Nec, whose main features include 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3800 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Regarding projection size, the value of 3600 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 523 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 349 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (20W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
