Behind the name PH1400U is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector by Nec, whose main features include 13500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2500 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1180 cm can be illuminated with 13500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 787 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2013 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
