The projector PA723U by Nec utilizes LCD technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 7200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 8000:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 3500 hours. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Projector Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 862 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 575 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Connectivity for fixed installations is rounded off by an RJ45 port for remote maintenance and an HDBaseT interface, which transmits bundled video, audio, and control data over long cable runs. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
