The NC2041L model is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector from Nec, intended for E-Cinema applications, offering 20000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 at UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. For maximum setup flexibility, the model supports optional interchangeable lenses, meaning the optics can be precisely matched to individual on-site requirements. Suitable distances can be determined using the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1437 cm can be illuminated with 20000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 958 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
