Based on LCD technology, the Nec MT1040 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 1300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 1300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 314 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 209 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. This model dates back to 1999 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
