Categorized in the Standard-Portabel segment, the M271WG projector from Nec projects with a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution, alongside 2700 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 3000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 6.8 years based on two hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 2700 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 528 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 352 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2013 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
