As a projector for the E-Cinema sector, the Nec NC1802ML is equipped with 18000 ANSI lumens, a HD2K 2048 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 50000 hours, covering an estimated 34.2 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1168 cm can be illuminated with 18000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 779 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
