With the NP-UM383WLJL, Nec offers a LCD projector that features 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 380000:1 and a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800. The built-in LED technology features a light source lifespan of 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 54 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 626 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 417 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
