The Epson USA PowerLite L695SU is a Laser-LCD projector offering 6200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 30000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Distance Calculator. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 160 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 800 cm can be illuminated with 6200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 533 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Thanks to support for Miracast and Airplay, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen.
