A projector from Epson USA is the PowerLite Home Cinema 3020UBe, whose 3D-LCD model delivers 2300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 40000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 2300 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 487 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 325 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
