A projector from Epson USA is the PowerLite L260F, whose 3D-LED-LCD model delivers 4600 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 2500000:1. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. Looking at practical performance, up to 689 cm can be illuminated with 4600 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 459 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since the projector supports Miracast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
