Behind the name Powerlite 2250U is a LED-LCD projector by Epson USA, whose main features include 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 5000 hours for this projector's lamp. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance.
