The basic data of the Epson USA Megaplex 850HD includes 2800 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1280 x 720 as well as a contrast of 3000:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. Regarding projection size, the value of 2800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 359 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
