As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Epson USA PowerLite 700U is equipped with 4000 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 2500000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours, covering an estimated 13.7 years based on a 4-hour daily runtime. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 50 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Thanks to support for Miracast, screen content can also be cast wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet, or PC to the screen. The projector was released in 2023 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA. However, it remains one of the frequently accessed models in our database.
