Known as the PowerLite W17, this LCD projector by Epson USA features basic specs of 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 5000 hours for this projector's lamp. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 2800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 359 cm. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
