As a projector, the Epson USA BrightLink 536Wi combines LCD technology with a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800, and is additionally specified with 3400 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 16000:1. According to Epson USA, the lamp has a durability of 5000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.8 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A look at the light output reveals: The 3400 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 592 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 395 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Epson USA.
