The PowerLite 71C model from Epson USA combines LCD technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 300:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 1500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 275 cm can be illuminated with 1000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 183 cm. This model dates back to 2001 and is no longer part of Epson USA's current product range.
