Behind the name TITAN WUXGA Quad 2000 3D is a 3D-Laser-DLP projector by Digital Projection, whose main features include 20000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 1500 hours before a replacement is necessary. The specifications indicate lens shift optics, allowing the image to be physically shifted without introducing digital image artifacts. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1437 cm can be illuminated with 20000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 958 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2013, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
