Equipped with DLP technology, the Digital Projection Lightning 38 WUXGA 3D offers 10000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 500 hours before a replacement is necessary. In terms of image alignment, the model offers an optical lens shift function, allowing the image to be shifted on the projection surface without any loss of quality. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 1016 cm can be illuminated with 10000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 677 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Digital Projection. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
