Based on DLP technology, the Benq W1050 projects images in a Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. According to Benq, the included lamp lasts up to 4500 hours, which amounts to roughly 6.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. Regarding projection size, the value of 2200 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 318 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
