Based on DLP technology, the Benq MX501 projects images in a Standard-Portabel environment, with technical specs listing 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Benq, the lamp has a durability of 4500 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 6.2 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 435 cm can be illuminated with 2500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 290 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range.
