The Benq LH850ST is a 3D-DLP projector offering 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 20000 hours, which translates to 13.7 years with 4 hours of daily use. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 100 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since the projector supports optional Miracast and Airplay screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device. This model dates back to 2024 and is no longer part of Benq's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
